Moretons was contracted to complete timber floor sanding and polishing works after the purchase of this rental property, prior to it being put back on the rental market. The works were quoted the same week as the contract was placed on the property and the works booked for the Monday following settlement.

The property still had its original carpet which was installed on Friday the 18th of September 1959 according to the newspaper found under it.

The original pine timber floor boards had never been sanded, the pictures show a black japan border that is common in the old homes of Brisbane. As we commenced sanding it became evident borers had been busy resulting in the removal and replacement of floor boards.

After completing our timber floor sanding process and preparing for the application of coating system. Our semi-gloss timber floor coating system was chosen to give this traditional pine timber floor a long life and easy maintenance.
